This brooch is just beautiful , from the rich orange glow of the glass to the ornate intricate setting. The centre of the glass is smooth and the sides and back are faceted , that and the fact that it's a brilliant cut stone make it amazing just to look at.Given how old it is its in beautiful looking condition , however there are a few scratches to the back of the glass .The old style clasp is no longer secure, but i have seen a good method of repair with these before so your local jeweler could probably remedy this.Measurements : Just shy of 3 inches across and 2 and a half inches down.
