Large & fine, antique, carved, Victorian, Aesthetic Movement, walnut, stepback bookcase, hutch, cabinet, circa 1880 . Fine & large, antique, carved, solid satin walnut, Aesthetic Movement bookcase circa 1880; to the top is a carved cornice/crown, below are a pair of doors with the original wavy glass, enclosing three shelves. The base has a pair of drawers, below are a pair of doors that are carved with stylized flowers, the bookcase stands on bracket feet. Condition is excellent, the original finish throughout, all of the brass hardware is original, the bookcase separates into three parts; cornice, bookcase and base. This is a tall bookcase at; 85" tall x 42" wide (base) x 39" wide (top x 17" deep (base) x 12" deep (top), a fine quality antique Aesthetic Movement bookcase circa 1880.
