Large backgammon set in leather briefcase by Italian designer Renzo Romagnoli. Approximate dimensions open: 29 1/4" x 23 1/4". Likely made in Italy. Black leather playing surface with inlaid tan and red-brown leather triangles. Acrylic mother of pearl style checkers, fifteen red-gold, fifteen white. Leather die cups, one brown, one black. Large and small die, four of each size, white. Doubling die, one grey. Black leather briefcase (14 1/2" x 23 1/4" x 3 1/2") with leather handles and gold plated combination locks.
