AUTHENTIC Vintage CAPODIMONTE ITALIAN PORCELAIN URNSIGNED CAPODIMONTE BERNINI MADE IN ITALY 325Large Bernini Capodimonte Covered Urn with Dionysian ScenesLarge 13"h Capodimonte lidded urn hand painted in dramatic colors, depicting Dionysian scenes in bas relief of wine induced abandon. Clothes are in disarray, wine is spilled, Cupid runs amok, and all the while the horned God Pan goads his Satyrs to yet further celebration of Nature.Cool description, huh ? Well basically that is a very accurate description. The piece is in very nice shape. Does not appear to have any chips. The only things I could find was a tiny slight dark spot on rim of lid , which appears to a water mark that could be removed.(See picture). The other appears on bottom , looks like a chip but it is actually glazed over so I am assuming this was done prior to firing the piece.
