LARGE BESWICK "RED RUM" RACE HORSE Connoisseur Model 2510 Here is a large Connoissuer Series model of the racehorse "RED RUM" by Beswick, Model Number 2510 produced from 1975 until 1989. Red Rum is the most successful Aintree Grand National horse, winning the race three times and also finishing second twice. Red Rum was trained by Ginger McCain during his racing career in the 1970's. The horse was modelled by Graham Tongue and has a Bay, Matt finish. The model stands 11 5/8" high (not including wooden plinth). The base plinth measures 11 5/8" long x 3 3/4" wide and 3/4" thick. The model weighs about 1120 grams unpacked. The horse's underside belly is stamped with the BESWICK ENGLAND crest mark and the base plinth has a printed label with information about the horse, trainer and owner (see photos). Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. Offered with Buy it Now and realistic offers will also be considered. This item wil l be very safely double boxed for shipping.
