VINTAGE ORIGINAL INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE LARGE "OC WHITE" ADJUSTABLE LAB/SHOP FLOOR LAMP IN SUPERB CONDITION circa 1920's - Be sure to check my other listings for more rare and unique Industrial / Machine Age lighting, I will gladly combine items for more economical shipping whenever possible! This original Industrial "OC WHITE" floor Lab lamp has an articulated cast iron tension adjustment elbow which allows it to angle/lower/heighten/lengthen as well as the cast iron socket angle extension arm allowing the long shade rods to maintain stability in different positions. The cast iron round base has an engraved graphic that is patterned after the 8 knuckle adjusting knobs and is heavily weighted which provides adequate support for lengthy adjustments . Overall the lamp is in outstanding condition with original hardware throughout, there are n o signs of bending, damage or repair with just minor tarnish from normal use and a light patina from age. The lamp retains it's original paddle switch Brass socket which is electrically sound and functions safely, the power cord has been replaced at some time and is heavy duty machinery grade insulated power cord which is completely functional and safe.
