Offered here is an early, turn-of-the-last-century Scottish silver clan badge for the family Macdonald of Clanranald. With applied silver letters around the top of the belt it reads: Dhandeion Co Heirigha or, He who dares wins. In the center castle, armored arm holding a sword. This beautifully made, multi-piece constructed badge measures 2 1/2" tall. It bears two indiscernible silver hallmarks. It tests silver, and is guaranteed to be.
