After 50 years I am selling my personal stamp collection of US Commemorative and Special Postage stamps. This is a large and awesome collection of over 1000 US stamps that date back to 1861. The collection includes the following:
Harris US Stamp Collection book with stamp pages through 1985 issues - with about 700 stamps inside: Oldest stamp is the 1861 George Washington Second Design 12 stamps from 1861 to 1892 The first 3 stamps in the Columbian Exposition Series - 1 cent mint; 2 cent unused; 3 cent used 62 stamps from 1894-1930 218 stamps from 1931-1953 Nearly every stamp Unused from 1954 to 1969 - almost 300 stamps 117 stamps from 1970 to 1985 - mostly unused Eight (8) 1980's complete Commemorative stamp sets in envelopes - mint not used not hinged! About 100 mint stamps from the mid-1990's unhinged-mounted on personally designed stamp pages About 75 loose Mint stamps in a stamp stock page Plus about 85 Air mail and special delivery stamps The whole collection would cost you more than $600 if you were to buy all these stamps at retail, never mind the book, extra insert pages and the like.
