Before I begin, I want to thank all of you for your emails indicating how much you have learned from my " me " page. My repeat clients already know what I do in what little spare time I have, but for those of you who would like to know, please review. In addition to liquidating large estates, I stay pretty busy. Thank you for having a look at my auctions. As my repeat customers already know, and most who have visited my auctions know, I acquired the entire large estate of a former American Diplomat who spent many years serving in countries around the world. I have been listing the items, and will continue listing them until the entire estate has been liquidated. The items include just about everything you can imagine in the household of a family who had been around for a very long time, so Have a look at my eBay Store, and please stay tuned to all my auctions over the coming months. Many of the items in this large estate were held in commercial storage for over 40 years while the family served at American embassies overseas, so I know many or most of the items are very old and/or original. Offered is a gorgeous, large, and very deep serving platter. The design is remarkable in the detail of the hand painted roses and other flowers, and the gold accent around the edge is in perfect condition. It is stamped on the back Limoges France. This platter measures 15-1/2 inches long, and is about 2 inches deep. Can be used as a large shallow serving bowl, as well. A most unusual platter shape. In perfect pristine condition, and an impressive addition to any Limoges collection. Sometimes the eBay estimated shipping is higher than actual, and you can save some money by waiting for the invoice. If you have questions about specific shipping costs prior to auction end, please send me a message with your zip code for a more accurate quote. Unless otherwise stated, insurance is optional. I am not responsible for damage in transit if insurance is not purchased. Payment is via PayPal or money order, and payment must be received within 7 days of the auction end. I do not accept personal checks. A discount of the total purchase price is offered for multiple purchases when paid for at the same time. Packages are picked up from me once a week, mid-week. If your payment has not been received and cleared by COB Monday, your package will not go out until the following week. Shipment is via UPS or USPS depending upon your location and preference. I do charge a small handling/packing fee, and shipping discounts are always offered with multiple purchases w combined packing is possible. On larger items such as furniture, please contact me regarding handling fees for packing/crating. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT AS OF MAY 14, 2007, THE USPS CALCULATION OF SHIPPING RATES INCLUDES THE SIZE OF THE PACKAGE AS WELL AS THE WEIGHT AND ZIP CODE. YOUR SHIPPING COSTS ARE HIGHER. As an example: a 3 lb box to California from the East Coast which does not exceed 12 inches in either direction will cost between $11.00 and $15.00 plus insurance and handling fees. But if the box is even 2 inches longer or wider than that, the amount of the postage is almost DOUBLE!!! ATTENTION CANADA AND MEXICO: T are now only 2 options for shipping to Canada: International Priority, or UPS Ground (UPS GROUND BEING THE LEAST EXPENSIVE). For Mexico t is only International Priority or Express... UPS Ground does not go into Mexico, but UPS Air does (INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY BEING THE LEAST EXPENSIVE TO MEXICO). Sorry Canada and Mexico!! DUE TO THESE CHANGES, USA BUYERS MIGHT WISH TO INVESTIGATE USING OTHER SHIPPING OPTIONS SUCH AS UPS INSTEAD OF THE POST OFFICE, DEPENDING UPON W YOU ARE IN CONNECTION TO THE ORIGIN OF SHIPMENT.
