Large Dresden German Lace Figurine 10" x 11" Sandizell

This Dresden figurine is Huge and measures 9 3/4" tall by 11" wide. It is absolutely beautiful with a man playing the flute for a lovely lady who sits beside him with a fan in her hand. She wears a billowing skirt decorated with pink/magenta roses and purple trim. The bodice of her dress is purple with bows on the sleeves and the front is yellow with bows and ruffles. Her hat is light blue with a ribbon and tie both in purple. Her facial features are exquisite with her only flaw being the missing tip of a finger. He is adorned in a long jacket a burnt orange color with gold trim, a tan vest with the lavendar ruffles of his shirt showing, his knickers are brown with yellow vertical strips decorated with small dots and both figures wear black shoes. This group bears the Sandizell mark on the bottom of base; t is another mark on edge of the base which is difficult to read possibly Dresden western Germany (see photo) at this same spot t is a hairline crack-this does not affect the soundness of the piece, but I try to point out all defects which I know about to the buyer. This comes out my collection, but my husband says they are taking over the house and some have to go. I will be selling a few others over the next few weeks so check back.
