Beautiful Old Large Dutch Zaanse WUBA / Warmink Wall Clock This beautiful large clock is an original Dutch WUBA Zaanse Clock from the 1950's - 1960's. It has a 8 day movement and is weight driven by two pear shaped brass weights. It has a beautiful bell chime striking at the full and half hour. The clock is in excellent condition and is working perfectly. The clockwork has been cleaned, oiled and tested and will last form many more years. Height: 65cm, Width: 28cm, Depht: 16cm On top of the bell stands a brass figure representing Atlas carrying the celestial globe. The brass ornament at the top expresses in three figures the symbols belief, hope and love, and the old Dutch words “nu elck syn sin”, meaning “every man to his taste”. The left and right brass ornaments are showing two standing lions carrying a crowned shield. On front are two twisted brass columns with in between a silver plated engraved dial surrounded by four brass cherubs. At the bottom of the clock is also a beautiful brass ornament.The pendulum is a brass rider on horseback.
