Large early blue transfer compote. this piece dates just after the 1830s to the 1840s. The pattern is "Cologne". This was made by J&G Alcock (1839-1846). Marked with a printed pattern and makers mark. T is also a retailers mark printed on the bottom. Overall condition is very good. T is one small chip on the edge (pictured). No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Beautiful large oiece that is becoming hard to find nowadays. Measures about 11 1/2" long (handle to handle), 8 1/8" wide, and about 6 3/4" tall.
