SO YOU KNOW YOU CAN TRUST US TO SHOW YOU WHAT YOU WILL GET AND SHIP IT TO YOU PROMPTLY.HERE IS A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS COIN COLLECTION- - - -The first coin is a very impressive piece.... it is a James Madison Golden Dollar, from the Presidential Dollar Series. It is a full strike example, and with full luster. These coins are not found usually in circulation, as dollar coins do not circulate very much.... so if they ever did circulate you would have a hard time finding one. Most collectors do not have one of these.During the year 1943 there were heavy shortages of all kinds of consumer and manufacturing goods in the United States. The country was at war with Germany and Japan!! All of the copper was being used for making armaments like bombs and bullets. So the United States mint had to start using steel in the production of pennies. Hence we have here one of the historic coins ....... a 1943 steel cent. It is a really nice looking piece...There are a few non-coin items in this collection.... and here is one of them..... or three of them...... Three (3) natural rough emeralds as found in nature... they have not been cut or polished, or faceted.... probably found in Brazil... nice green warm color...Every year the U.S. Mint makes a set of coins comprised of the coins they make for circulation. Here is a set of coins from 1981 comprising a cent, a nickel, and dime and the quarter. These coins have not been taken out of their original plastic holders... and so each one is in the original condition. Each coin has never been touched by human hands, and you can keep these that way forever as long as you don't cut them out of the plastic. A very nice looking set of coins:The next item in this large collection is a certified Indian Head Penny. They were first made in 1858, and the last year these were made was 1909. You really can't find these in circulation anymore. This coin still shows a lot of detail on it... the date is really strong. Even the "newest" Indian Head Cent is almost 100 years old!! A great piece to add to this collection:Here is something really old.... a slabbed CHINESE CASH COIN. These were made starting well over 1000 years ago. This one is in very nice condition. A true museum piece I am sure:The next coin is more modern... but it is equally astounding.... a very nice condition BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATION EISENHOWER LARGE SILVER DOLLAR. This coin comes from the very last year that this type of coin was issued... and it is the large sized SILVER DOLLAR was made for general circulation:The V-Nickel was first produced in the year 1883, while the last year of issue was 1913. An interesting thing about this coin is that on some of the coins during the first year, they did not use the word "cents", so that left the door open to unscrupulous people to gold-plate the coins and then pass them off as $5. gold coins, instead of the 5-cent piece that they were. So the first year has two types to collect..... without the word "cents" and then with the word "cents."The first year of issue for the buffalo nickel wa in 1913. The last year was 1938, also the first year of the Jefferson nickel. The Buffalo nickel shows an American Indian on the front (obverse), and the buffalo on the back (the reverse). This coin is from a very heavily collected series, and wildly popular. A nice example and one to be very proud of.....The 200th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States happened in 1976.
