`Clarence House Antiques. North Street - Rhayader - Powys - . For sale today A substantial, solid Mahogany, Georgian Chest of Drawers. Structurally sound and steadfast. The oak lined drawers which are dovetail jointed on all four corners, are all solid and slide in and out easily.. All the pine dust boards / dividers are present and in tact. No worm or rot any where. No tilts or wobbles.. There are some patches of damage to the patina and some small knocks in the top. There is some colour loss on the drawer fronts. As you can tell from the images, it's not that visible in natural light but it does stand out more in artificial light. It's mainly around the handles on the upper drawers but nearly all over the bottom one. It might be finger acid erosion. So to sum up, the chest isn't perfect to look at but is fully functional and ready for use and will be for a long time to come. . 42+1/2 inches high. 44+1/2 wide 21 deep Local pick up or please email for delivery quote.
