I don't speak German, so I'm not sure what is engraved on the two sides of this large antique German medal made of 900 silver. But I see two crossed rifles surrounded by gold oak leaves on the German cross and the word Konig (King) in two places on the reverse, so I think it has to do with shooting, since it was ten years before the beginning of WWI. This medal is two and one-quarter inches square and weighs 28.5 grams (one ounce). One rifle barrel is bent, as are two of the points, but nothing is broken or missing on this historic collectible.
