27 (69 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head portraying adult woman with oval face and elongated throat, pale blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eye-liner, painted delicate lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, kid body with shapely waist, gusset-jointing, paper mache lower arms and hands, beautifully costumed in green and cream striped gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2R-14. Comments: attributed to Kling, circa 1880. Value Points: rare large size enhances the exquisite portraiture enhanced by most delicate bisque and painting.
