Large Glass Vase - Bohemian Artist JOSEF AHNE - c1890 Item Description: For Sale we have a Josef Ahne hand painted blown glass vase. This bohemian artist won a bronze metal in the 1898 Paris Exposition for his painted art glass. This item dates within the same timeframe - late 1800's. This vase measures 11" tall and 16" measuring around the widest part. It features a pretty handpainted portrait of a young girl on the front with artistic designs and raised beading on the back. Signed Ahne at the lower right corner of the portrait. The condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs, just normal wear to gold at the rims.
