Large Northwood GRAPE AND CABLE pattern thumbprint master berry bowl. Smooth interior. This big bowl measures 9 and 1/4 inches in diameter and 3 and 1/2 inches high. Has typical imperfections of Carnival Glass of the period, i.e. mold seams, bubbles, straw marks, and normal wear. No chips, cracks, or damage. It is signed with the circled N . Isn't this a great looking piece? Amethyst/purple glass. Very nice iridescence both inside and out. Check out the photos taken in natural light. In order to see its size better, the last photo is shown with a matching small berry bowl (also currently up for auction in another listing). Perhaps you need to add to or complete a set, start one, or want an example of this classic Northwood pattern. This could be it. Isn't this a pretty bowl? What a find, and at No Reserve!
