This is a Royal Haeger earth graphic wrap ovoid jug with contrasting earthy textured highlights in excellent condition. The background color is a smooth soft chocolate brown. More colors with lots of texture appear to have been applied on top of the smooth chocolate brown surface. T is a rusty red textured surface with a gold antiqued finish swirled through it around the sides of the jug. The colors are rich and beautiful. The textured light browns and ochre colors blend together to give a natural, earthy effect. This is a gorgeous example of Heager's brown earth graphic wrap produced from 1973 to 1974. Measures 11"H x 9"W. Flat base and stylized handle and lip. Signed on the bottom. No chips or cracks alhthough t is a makers imperfection less than the size of a uncooked grain of rice on the handle w the dark brown glaze did not hold well. For for the last 25 years (and up until 2 months ago) this has been kept in a glass fronted cabinet.
