HARTLAND

LARGE "900" WESTERN CHAMP COWBOY & WHITE HORSE SET
Wearing a white hat, black shirt w/white neck scarf, black & white chaps, and holding a cigarette in his right hand, this cowboy sits tall & proud on a white horse with a black and white saddle. This is one of HARTLAND's larger 1950s-era plastic sets. With the cowboy mounted, the overall height is 12" measured to the top of his hat.

Measuring 9 3/4" tall to the tip of its ears, this majestic horse is in excellent condition. I find no rubs or scuff marks. T may have been a pointed tip on the end of the tail at one time, and I cannot verify if the metal chain reins are original.

The cowboy has no rubs or scuff marks. He has only one of two six-shooters. The only other flaw of which I am aware is the fact that a previous owner drilled holes into the brim of his hat (See photo). I presume this was so a chin strap could be applied. T are a couple very minor paint rubs on the saddle/blanket.

Overall, this HARTLAND set is in VERY GOOD CONDITION . I t is obvious that this set has been gently played with and well maintained over the past half-century.
