RARE ILSLEY STORE SPICE BIN - COLUMBUS GRAPHICS - DATED 1892This is a large store/countertop spice bin made by the old S.A. Ilsley company. It depicts Columbus finding the "new world" with a prostrate Indian at his feet. It is missing the changeable spice label that would have fit in the two metal slots (which are dated 1892). The bin measures 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide and is 8 inches deep. It is in very good condition for a large tin that is about 125 years old with the lithography being solid and quite vibrant. It does have some very small scattered dents (nothing serious), some litho chips and scrapes (again, nothing serious) and a little bit of light rust on areas of the bottom edge. The knob looks original, but it may be missing little friction catch on the top lid. Shipping cost in the US is $10.00. Let me know if you want a shipping cost outside the US. I leave positive feedback once received and please feel free to ask any questions.
