Thank you for visiting and good luck !!!!This listing is for a large Chinese porcelain statue dating to the 19th century or earlier. The impressive statue with a Blanc de Chine finish depicts a standing Kwan Yin with a bottle in her hand. She is shown standing on a fish in the crashing waves below. Detail in the work is superb and the glaze shows a tint of light blue where it has pooled. The reverse with a seal and comes with a carved wood stand. The porcelain along stands 20 inches (51cm) tall and is in excellent condition the exception of the loss to the tip of two fingers on the right hand. Also there is a faint line running through the fingers of the same hand. Finally there is a firing line on the wave form base which was done in the making and is not damage. All have been shown for accuracy. An impressive and beautiful piece of Chinese porcelain from the Qing Dynasty.
