The Ingraham Clock Company was founded in 1857 by Elias Ingraham. Among their many styles of clocks, they produced a line of large wall calendar regulator clocks of which this is an excellent example. I'd rate this solid Walnut case as MINT and the fancy pendulum "bob" marks it as one that the company was especually proud of. Many wall clocks have a plain brass 'bob'. But----look at the engraved design on this one !!! (see photograph). The calendar mechanism operates properly, advancing the red date hand one date at a time throughout each month. We don't find them any nicer than this!! And, the good news is that it can be yours for a lot less than you see them priced at on many other internet sites.
