ENLARGED VIEWS AVAILABLE BELOW

Majolica is an art form dating back to the 14th century,
and pieces have been found on numerous archeological sites throughout the world.
Each terra-cotta based piece is beautifully hand painted and twice fired in the kiln.
The most beautiful Majolica from Italy, if not the world,
comes from Tuscany and Umbria.
This Large Majolica 3 Tree Frog Vase
has been skillfully handcrafted in the Tuscany region of Italy.
Inventive artistry has formed a deeply grooved bark like texture on main body,
celedon coloured leaves surround upper lip, bearing three rather happy looking frogs.
Just a wonderful addition to the best of Italian Pottery collections.
We have many complementary pieces of Italian Majolica from Umbria and Tuscany
slated for eBay release in the coming days, in addition to many more beautiful stand alone pieces of Majolica from other regions of Europe.
