Your bidding on a large and beautiful Japanese/Chinese oil on canvas painting of junk ships. This painting measures approximatly 53" long by 25" tall outside frame dimentions. It has a lovely blend of black,yellow,blues,auqa green and reds that make a stunning scenery of sunset on the asian ocean. It is signed in lower left corner that looks like "Tesc" and I would guess its from the 40's era but could be older, it has fine circular crazing in paint and could use a good professional cleaning. This and many other rare Japanese and Chinese items I have listed are from the estate of a woman who served in our armed forces and was stationed in Japan during ocupation, she collected many lovely items and I was fortunate enough to purchase most of them to offer up for auction this week.
