TURN OF THE CENTURY JAPANESE BOWL. INTRICATELY GILDED WITH 22 KARAT GOLD! VERY APPEALING HANDMADE BOWL -- 12 INCHES BY SIX INCHES TALL. This is an Auction for a fantastic bowl.... the pumpkin shape is a traditional Japanese style, more commonly associated with the water drums of ancient times. This one is Papier-mâché and is at least partially hand gilted (this work is so fine it is difficult to judge the entire piece). T is a crack to the top of the item... this is visible in the pictures -- however, it does not detract from the display at all... and could be repaired -- but we will leave that to the buyer. This is truly a beautiful item that would enhance so many environments! Good Luck Bidding.
