This auction is for a large lot of Lionel trains and accessories from the post war era. I bought them in 1987 and set it up once, and then put it away until now. The original owner told me that they started it right after the war. I will list each item and then describe any problems associated. First of all, t are 14 curved track, and 30 straight track pieces. T are several different track pieces that I do not know anything about. One of them has a loose piece. T are 22 telephone poles. A couple of them have a broken piece or two on the pole. All in all, they are really nice, shiny and look new. T are 4 number 71 lights with boxes. The boxes are in really good shape, completely intact, except one is missing an inside flap. The glue on the side of the boxes has come unglued. The lights work, but the wire is very cracked. The coating of the wire is just in very delicate condition. But, like I said, they all light up when attached to the track. T is a set of signs, with one sign missing the base. T is a set of railroad crossing red plastic pieces, as show. The one that has a ladder attachment is broken on the top piece as shown. T are 11 extra Lionel CTC LOCKON pieces. T is an envelope of 12 #027-C-1 Clips in the original envelope. T is a #1033 Transformer. Transformer works. The engine is # 1655 and lights and works. The tender is read more
