This stately quartz crystal,
from the Diamantina region of Brazil,
features stunning clarity
with incomparable luster.
The shaft surface is covered with well defined etchings
that are a hallmark of Diamantina quartz.
T are also castle formations
and one side of the lower shaft
has a self-healed contact area.
The base is also a self-healed surface. Close examination will also
lead to the discovery of
partial facets forming along
some of the baseline in
an elestial pattern. The tip has an empathy nick.
T are crisp foils running through
the middle of the shaft that showcase very vibrant rainbows!
The marvelous smoky hue
is somewhat lighter than the photos appear.

This stupendous crystal formation
is 7" tall,
3 1/2" wide, 3 1/4" thick and
weighs 4 1/4 pounds!
