FRESH FROM A LOCAL ESTATE IS THIS VINTAGE 1923 MASONIC FREE MASONRY 10KT GOLD MEDAL GIVEN TO MASTER MASON RAYMOND W. SHERER.This stunning medla is approx. 5 1/4" long by 2 1/4" wide and weighs 29.3 grams. In the center there is a blue stone that appears to be a sapphire and hanging from the top are the numbers 88 I'm not sure if that is the lodge number or what. If anyone knows please help me out. The back is marked E.A. Sept.24,1923--F.C. Oct.22,1923--M.M. Nov.12,1923. It tested for 10 and 14 kt gold and held both but it looks very rosey so I'm calling it 10 kt.This would make a great addition to any collection. Please email with questions.Thanks and good luck.
