For auction, a pretty modern large 25" tall lenci doll, all felt with a gorgeous full dress and stocking and pretty high heels. I believe she was made as a boudoir or bed doll. She has a blonde wig with curls piled on top of her head and a white ostrich feather head piece wrapped around her head. The wig feels like human hair. May be a synthetic. she has lovely hand painted facial features of her felt mask face. No rubs to the face paint. Very pretty. She is jointed at the neck shoulders and hips so very posable. the dress is lovely. It is a very full sheer fabric covered with pretty pink and blue felt flowers. The collar is 3 full ruffles trimmed in pink scalloped felt ribbon. She holds a matching handkerchief in her left hand. All her fingers are separate except the the 3rd & 4th which are merged together. The dress has a wire hoop underneath to make it present very full. The original Lenci tag is attached to the bottom of her dress. Under the dress is a full slip with 2 ruffles at the hem line and she has panties with a pink fabric flower on each side. Her pantaloons go just below her knees and have 3 layers of ruffles around each leg. She has long sheer stockings and black felt high heel shoes with little bows on the top of her foot. She is in good condition. She came to me this way from an estate. The lady was a cloth doll collector. read more
