This large MOP or shell caviar spoon is almost certainly Danish with a nice plated handle with splayed escutcheon join to the shell. Where the handle joins the metal escutcheon there is a slight split - while it will not break off, I am selling this cheaply as a decorative object only . Gorgeous abelone of Mother of Pearl spoon. Lovely rainbow colours on the front and bronze tints on the back. A little wear on the handle which barely shows and a small split [see above]HAVE NOTHING IN YOUR HOUSES THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW TO BE USEFUL OR BELIEVE TO BE BEAUTIFUL.
