Up for auction is another great Christmas item that we pulled out from two trunks that we have been working on for one of our consignors at our 6,000 Sq. ft. location in Brodheadsville, Pa.. This particuliar consignor came to us with two metal sealed trunks full of Vintage and Antique Christmas items and toys that came from an estate. We will be trying to list them as much as we can in the next few weeks- and we love to combine shipping- so keep on checking! This is definitely old- we cannot date it but all that we have received date from the late 1800's to the 1940's. Although this is not an ornament this is quite a collectible item for anyone who likes to acquire the older pieces for their collection. We will describe him to the best of our ability. He measures approximately 13" in a standing position. He is made of a composition-mass with a red felt jacket and the fuzzy white trim is some sort of cotton- as you can see in the front view picture t is slight damage. All of the compo. is in great shape, he has wire inside for the movement of his arms. The beard is made of fur- rabbit we believe. It is shedding but still pretty much intact. The base is made of wood with mica flakes on the top of the white paint. The only damage we see to the actual candy container is the bottom starting to pull from the sides, but if you twist it open it should be no problem as long as you do this ever-so-gently. The basket we are not sure if it is original but would like to think so. As far the greens inside the basket that we cannot be sure. The winning of the bidder is required to purchase insurance on this item. We would like to add to this auction that we do try to describe to the best of our abilities on the items that we receive from our consignors and vendors. We also try to take the best pictures that we can with providing the best clarity to help with our description. We are not experts nor do we claim to be- SO PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. Even if you may think they are ridiculous, please ask. We do not think any question is ridiculous and it may be of great importance. All of our auctions are final sales so please ask prior to bidding. All of the items that we offer our Ebay customers are on display at our Pennsylvania location. Our items are available for pick up minutes from Rt. 80 as well as being shipped. Buyer pays $7.00 shipping fees within the U.S. and actual outside the U.S. + insurance (optional-but suggested). Pa. residents please add 6% Sales tax. Payment is due no later than 10 days from end of auction. We are now shipping only to confirmed addresses through Paypal or Ebay.
