This listing is for a beautiful and large pair of Japanese Imari porcelain vases dating to the early 20th century. They are heavily potted in baluster form and stand on thick scalloped feet. The bodies of the vases are hand painted with reserves of flowers heavily accented in gilt. They each stand 17.75 inches (45cm) tall and are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations. Just some usual rubbing to the gilt, especially on the inside of the neck.
