old large Pictorial Holy Bible from 1881 Nagel Family DESCRIPTION: old very large Family Pictorial Holy Family Bible from 1881, gold leaf embossed on front leather binding C. W. & A. M. Nagel. T is no family tree or family history in the bible. Published by Jones Brothers & Company. This is a large book containing the Old and New testament along with a comprehensive dictionary and gallery of scripture illustrations. Has gilt gold leaf page edges. Lots of engraved prints and illustrations, some in color. Now this is very old so t are foxing spots on some of the pages. The hard leather binding is separated from the bound pages. The first two pages are torn a bit and large top corner pieces are missing, another page is loose from the binding. The rest of the pages are very much intact. A great old Victorian era family Bible.
