PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DON'T INTEND ON PAYING! "I COMBINE SHIPPING COSTS TO SAVE YOU MONEY!!!!! " Up for Auction is this beautiful Old hand Made Copper Eagle on wood. . As much as I can determine the age is around 1900 or soon after. The copper has a nice patina and the paint is flaking in places. . This was an estate find from a Lady who had moved to Florida from Maine in the 40s and this was made by a family member back in Maine. The family had settled close to the Aroostook River. It looks hand hammered and the edges are tacked to the backboard(see photo). I photographed it both inside and outside. It is mounted on 1/2" board and was screwed to the wall in the family room. It measures 15-1/2 X 47" so it is large. T are points of tacks sticking out the back. I have a lot of other items from this estate also up for auction. . I am starting low with no reserve.
