This is a solid brass steam whistle. A 3 chime locomotive whistle with built in valve that is 4.5 inches in diameter and total length of 15.75 inches. The bell is 8 inches. The 8 inch lever is stamped"Lonergan" on one side and "Phila-PA" on the other side. It has 1.25 inch pipe inlet. The whistle is a reddish brass color. It was professionally polished over 20 years ago. The whistle is in excellent condition. It is guaranteed fully workable. This is an authentic railroad whistle. This collection spans 3 generations starting with my husband's grandfather in 1880s who worked for a railroad. Buyer pays shipping handling + insurance. Pay via paypal or cashiers check.
