Ref: 9135 11 avril 08 Large rare tenebrescent Hackmanite mineral on marble matrix from Poudrette quarry, Mont St-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. Found twenty years ago ( 1985 ).This Hackmanite mineral reacts at UV light at (LW) in red color.At (SW) this Hackmanite mineral reacts in yellow, pink, peach to orange colors. The tenebrescence is dark purple color. The fluorescence is stronger than (SW), after exposure at (LW) we even see it at day light and the tenebrescence is more deep after exposure at the sun.This Hackmanite retains strong white phosphorescence for a long duration. Good specimen for thematic or fluorescent and tenebrescent and phosphorescent collection.Cabinet size: 4 x 5 1/2 inches, 1 1/2 inch thick.
