DESCRIPTION This is a large - 2 1/2 pint - tea pot by Royal Albert.It is decorated in the very pretty 'Old Country Roses' pattern of yellow and red roses.It is gilded around the rim, spout, handle and base of the tea pot.The lid is also gilded around the rim and finial.The spout is fluted.It is fully marked on the base with the Royal Albert back stamp indicating a 1st quality piece.Although it is a 1st quality piece it does have a tiny brown dot, which doesn't show as it is just underneath the bulbous part.I have included a photograph of this small blemish.It is a lovely pot, which is useful and also looks lovely on display. MEASUREMENTS It is 8" to the top of the finial; 10" from spout to handle.CONDITIONIt is in excellent condition, apart from small flaw mentioned above.
