PLEASE READ THE WHOLE ADVERT BEFORE PLACING A BID, THANKS FOR LOOKING Description This auction for a Scarce Willy Johansson, Hadeland Bowl This beautiful piece of art glass was made at the Hadeland Glassworks by designer and master blower Willy Johansson. The exterior of the bowl is heavily frosted, whilst the interior has the stark contrast of being very well polished to a high sheen. The bowl has a stunning whirlpool of deep purple around the base, which wraps up the side like feathered leaves The piece is signed on the base very finely Hadeland W.J. I believe it dates from the 1960's possibly the 1970's. An inspiration piece of glass art, truly beautiful, of which unfortunitly I am unable to convey in photo's Measurements This stunning bowl is very large and heavy !! It is 2.65kg, 22cms in diameter and 12cms in height Condition Report The Bowl is in good condition with no cracks, deep scratches, or any other damage/restoration. It has very light surface wear to base which is due to age and use. Photo's of the signiture have been enhanced with talc powder to make it more visable in the pictures.
