An amazing Silver case watch. with a very fine picture dial of Speed The Plough , Verge fusee movement .with original dust cap. Diamond end stone.serviced. made LONDON. C 1842 Serviced very well priced. PLEASE DO TAKE TIME TO READ THE FULL LISTING AND DO ENLARGE THE PHOTOGRAPHS TO SEE THIS GREAT WATCH. SORRY FOR ANY REFLECTION. The large silver outer case measures 50 m.m. edge to edge. in nice condition. and the inner case with the watch measures 46 m.m. Well hallmarked for London 1842. all clips work well on the case. The glass is high doomed clean and clear. weight of the watch is 119 grms a very good weight for a pocket watch. The digital pictured dial has been professionally re enamel, as a very fine picture of Speed The Plough with a lot of very fine detail. Roman numerals for the hours. The size of the dial is 43 m.m. with very fine gold hands. The fire gilt movement looks just like the day it left the makers, a very nice balance cock with a Diamond end stone, round pillars, with a with a regulator. It runs to the full length of the chain, it has just been serviced. It just goes to show what very good watchmaker made this very fine watch and for it to run so very well after all these years . keeping better than verge time aprox 1 minuet per hour variation. It will come with a key. Wonderful to have this ultimate watch it would read more
