A NICE LARGE SILVER PLATED ECCLESIASTICAL CEILING RING

Hi,i have for sale a lovely large silver plated ecclesiastical church ceiling ring that is in very good condition.This ring would date to around the late 1800's and is very nicely made.The body is a thick ring of brass with six suspension hooks on the inside.The outside has latin inscription wich is deeply cut into the middle band.These inscriptions are repeated on the inner band too.The suspension hooks form part of the outer decorations having grape style locking nuts that hold against a cast decoration that has four clover leaf castings.The top has nicely cut celtic style crosses with clover leaf style sections in between.The base has a ring of clover leaf cut decorations.The ring measures 16 inches in diameter x 5 inches high.This looks lovely and a good polish up will do it the world of good.If you have a church,theme room or nice large house then this will look superb hung up.I do have other ecclesiastical items on so please take a look at my other listings.The postage will be £11 to send UK,£32 for some parts of Europe and £65 for the US.Many thanks for looking(;o)
