Description. Large solid silver Scottish brooch, by Robert Allison. Brooch depicts two thistle heads and leaves, within a circular band with a plaid design. Brooch has a diameter of 3.5 cm and weighs 13 grams. Hallmarked for Glasgow with a dating letter that looks like an 'F' (partial) which would be for 1954 / 1955. Also carries RA in a recessed oval which is the makers marks for Robert Allison. Back of the brooch is also stamped 'SCOTLAND'. Brooch, pin and C Clasp in good condition. Brooch will be sent in a plain black cardboard jewellery box. Postage UK: 1st Class record = £2.50 (postage and packing). If the item (or multiple items) exceeds £20 I will send Next Day Delivery (I will cover the cost) Overseas: Europe = £3.50; Rest Of The World = £4.00. Where the item (or multiple items) exceeds £25 I will cover the cost of International Sign For.
