You are viewing a large Sterling silver basket / centerpiece. It is clearly marked on the bottom: STERLING, with a hallmark containing a W within a laurel. It measures about 15 high to the top of the handle, and is 12-1/4 long at longest point and 8-1/4 wide at widest point. The basket sits upon a pedestal-type base. There is a D monogram in the center of the handle, and the image of a basket on each side of the piece. The piece is also decorated with a reticulated pierced pattern with interspersed floral motif on the top rim, the base and the handle of the piece. There is minor denting and the piece could use a better cleaning inside. It is a stunning piece.
