A large, nicely carved and detailed all wood table top prayer wheel, crafted in Nepal. Protective Tibetan Dragons perch on the top, handcarved out of wood. Measuring about 11 1/2 inches tall x 11 inches across x 3 3/4 inches deep, this handmade Tibetan Buddhist prayer wheel has been carved with Tibetan Sanskrit, spelling out "Om Mani Padme Hung", the Tibetan Buddhist meditation prayer, in the solid wood wheel. The wheel spins easily and smoothly. It's been painted in traditional Five Elemental Colors of Tibetan Buddhism, and antiqued, although it is not old. The belief is that as the wheel spins, the prayers float outwards and upwards. Please write with questions and bid with confidence; our folk art is always guaranteed.
