This is a unique Custom Tight Twist SCANDI Damascus Knife - This blade is very popular in Europe, has a full tang and is completely finished, sharpened and ready for a handle. The Blade is 4 1/8 inches long, 8 3/4 inches overall, over 1 inch wide and is 1/8 inch thick. This blade is forged in the Snake River valley of Idaho and is made up of 125 layers of 1084 carbon steel and 15N20 Nickel steel. This steel in not an import! The blade is crafted by knife Maker Grand Leavitt of Idaho. It is heat treated and tempered to a Rockwell 57 to 58.
