Up for bids is a wonderful Mexican pottery cat from the region of Tonala. It is burnished and painted very nicely. He is rather large, measuring 10 1/2 inches long and 5 inches wide across the base. Approximately 9 inches high to the tip of the ear. The cat is signed "Mexico Silva" on the back. He has a very whimsical expression and looks as though he sees another cat behind him! Condition is excellent with only minor imperfections typical in Mexican pottery and some wear to the glaze. No chips or cracks. Light spots are glare caused by lighting. Great piece to add to your collection! Please email if you have questions. Cat weighs a little over 3 1/2 pounds so shipping calculator will reflect a weight of 5-6 pounds for careful packing and safe arrival. I do not charge for materials and will print shipping amount on label.
