This huge six-strand turquoise and heishi necklace with jochlas highligted with spiney oyster was pawned by a Native American in the Gallup/Grants area of New Mexico, and was not redeemed. This certainly would have been worn proudly by its owner, and would have been used in ceremonies. The green turquoise nuggets are complemented by heishi shell. This necklace is strung with strong waxed cord, and it is tied in the traditional manner (it has no clasp). The length of the necklace is about 34" from end to end, and the jocholas are about 5" long. They can be removed from the necklace just by untying them. This will make a great collectible, and would even be pretty in a frame. We are happy to combine shipping (no extra charge for additional items). Will ship via Priority Mail only (insurance optional; however, I cannot be held responsible for uninsured items). Will ship internationally via Priority Mail (approximately $19.95/insured to most countries). I do not ship via International First Class Mail. Please e-mail any questions regarding shipping rates outside the U.S. Will combine shipping on international shipments, too. Thanks for looking. The dead pawn items that I list are items that were pawned in New Mexico and not redeemed. They have been previously owned by Native Americans, most likely worn and used in ceremonies and in daily life. These items are collectible and should be valued for their artistic value and the admiration of the culture of American Natives.
