This elegant piece is true Vaseline glass containing uranium causing it to glow brilliantly under a black light as shown in the second picture. For your consideration, a delightful Vaseline opalescent glass plump hen on nest covered candy dish almost 7" long. Handmade in the USA and marked with an M and sticky label and dusted with beautiful opalescence. The top part is a highly detailed featd fat hen with head turned left as chickens do and eggs showing from under and the bottom part has a broad scalloped edge with basket weave on the very bottom that looks like a basket. This beauty measures 6-5/8" long by 4-1/4" high, is new and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This fine specimen would be an ideal addition to any collection, a splendid gift, or charming display. Your bids are always welcome and appreciated.
