Absolutely stunning large Victorian jug with enamelled cranes flowers dragonflies, snails, ferns etc. The handle is gilded and there is a faint gilding pattern of fruit and leaves on the base. There are some pewter type studs at the top of the jug so possibly there was a lid at some time. This is a really stunning pieceof pottery - I'm not completely sure of the manufacturer, possibly Dudson or Jackson - if there is an expert out there who recognises it perhaps you could let me know. Sold with no reserve - many thanks for looking.
