This is a large and very well modeled cold painted bronze figure of two Africans killing a crocodile or alligator. It is 10 inches long from snout to tip of tail and 7 3/4 inches to the end of the spear. The younger man is holding a chain around the creatures neck while the older man is about to spear it's head. They both are wearing turbans, the young man has a sword at his side and the old man has a flask or bottle. Surprisingly there are no marks as to the maker but it would obviously a fine foundry.This piece is estate fresh and will be sent via insured Priority Mail. I've had to guess on the shipping charges so if I'm way off I'll refund the difference.
